problems with update win2003

hi,
today i updated my server, but update stop and I cancelled the service.

now i go to windows update, it install all less these both:
Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB914388)
Windows Server 2003 Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB917159)

just telling me failed.
How can i solve this ?

I am getting the same thing On some of my XP PRO Clients with the same
updates? Any thoughts

solved.

i shutd down my server, and tryed make the update and did with sucess.

Sorry, can't help with the failed install but wanted to mention I have
had 2 Win2K systems on 2 different networks loose profiles after
installing KB914388 and KB917159 automatically last night. Today when
the clients logged in the system created a new profile. I could not
force the old profile to load so had to copy all data to new profile.
Both systems would create new profiles for anyone logging in. Assume
that something corrupted all profiles on systems. The only common
thread was the Windows Updates.

I am having similar problem but I re-started sever number of time in order
success update but no luck ? following are my failed update !

Security Update for windows server 2003 (KB914388)
Security Update for windows server 2003 (KB917159)
Security Update for windows server 2003 (KB917537)
Windows Malicious Software Reomoval tool- July2006 (KB890838)
