Problems with view options in MS Mail folders

I imported a couple of message folders (Inbox and Sent Mail) from Outlook
Wxpress, and they showed up in the MS Mail folder list as subfolders to one
titled Imported Folders. No immediate problems with the process of importing
from OE until I went in to my old Sent Mail folder looking for an item and
noticed that while I had a "from" column, no "to" column was displayed. So
went to the View menu, selected "columns" and unchecked the "from" box and
check the "to" box. Got what I needed, but only susequently discovered that
this change had been applied to ALL the MS mail folder. Easy to recreate
this problem. Shouldn't each folder be individually configurable?
