I am one of the unfortunate ones who downloaded all the Windows & Office
updates last Tuesday, April 11. I had no problems before this. Afterwards,
I was not able to launch Office Outlook. I received errors about "Business
Contact Manager" not being able to load. I use my PC for home use, not
business. Thus I did not even know what "Business Contact Manager" was or is.
I ended up tonight uninstalling all updates from April 11 (including
MS06-012 through 017) and when that did not solve the problem, I then used my
Windows CD and uninstalled Business Contact Manager. It worked !! I realize
many people cannot do this as they may use this software for their business.
However, if this is an option for you, it did work for me, and I am willing
to sacrifice that program to get my Office Outlook working again. It's just a
shame that it has come to this. I just thought I'd share this option with
others who may need the advice/idea.
