Problems with Windos Update site

Running WINXP SP1&2: I too am having similar issues with Windows Update
site. Sometimes says that I need to update the "Update" software. Also
getting msg that I have chosen to skip the installation, and that I failed to
accept the EULA, which never came up. There is definately a problem with the
sitte. Just manually download the updates you need. My scheduled Auto Update
still works.
