I recently went to the windows update site with I.E, the site
scans and does the whole downloading, installing, and
registering proceess, but right after100% registartion, I
get a "Instruction X900some other numbers could not be read"
I close the windows, then my computer screen refreshes to show
my task bar as a peach/pink color and my windows frames all
have the classic windows look. I system restored and got back
XP appearance.

Why does the above happen? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
-Best Regards
