Not meaningfully: the Vista player was never packaged separately. When you
deliberately hacked your OS using vLite (and I'm not judging here), you
removed the files necessary to even rebuilt the component. The "N" Media
Restore Pack is about the closest you can find, but it's not applicable to
your SKU.
It's possible that vLite or the vLite support communities have some possible
solution here, but -- hacking the OS image can result in unsupported
configurations such as this. =\
You would be better advised to use the "N" SKU if you want Vista or 7
without the player. =\
