Anyone got any advice with this? After installing critical update KB834707 I
rebooted as asked but during the restart I got a black screen with the error
"Windows could not update file %1 from %2 %1:%2" This has happened before and
when it did the windows update icon remained in my system tray, suggesting
the update was not complete. I updated again to be confronted with the same
problem. I went to the windows Update site and scanned, and it agreed that I
still hadn't installed the critical update... Help ?
