Is it a TCP or UDP port, or...?
If UDP, it could be related to SNMP. I found the following with a
Google search:
UDP port 161 SNMP. This port can be accessed by any SNMP Management
utility. HP JetAdmin and HP Web JetAdmin use SNMP to configure and query
the status of HP JetDirect devices.
