Program files on second disk

We have the HD from our previous XP comp in our new Vista comp. We are going
to use as a data drive(main HD is 80 gb). Can I delete all the program files
and windows XP files from the second drive? Any links to how to use and setup
the other drive for data storage?

Just delete whatever you don't want. None of the XP system or program files
will be in use..
