You'll probably need to give the exact error message, unless per chance that
jogs someone's memory.

Ok, well are you running a particular program when these error messages
appear?

If so, look in the options for that particular program (often Tools >
Options or Edit > Preferences or something similar via its menus).

"text" isn't a message?

What planet do you live on?

He probably lives on Earth. You most likely live IN Uranus. He meant there
was actual text after the error. Take your head out of your ass for a
moment.

In which case it's likely to be one of your startup programs. You can see a
list of these via

Start > msconfig (typed in box) > Startup (tab)
Also in the same place on the Services tab with 'Hide all Microsoft
Services' checked.

It's sounds a little bit like Windows Defender messages (which do use
'Definitions'), but could also easily be other security software etc that
you have installed.

You'd need to provide more information, eg on your startup programs, plus
other programs you have installed, for a more targeted response.
