I have a program that i can run fine on my PC that has XP, but will not run
on the XP machine. It is an Access mdb file. When i try to open it on my XP
machine I get an error message from Access that says ... 'An unexpected
situation arose in your program. Please write down the following details:
Call Proc:
Error Number

Unable to record because Error 3320 funtion is not available in expression
table-level validation expression.

When I click OK, the program just hangs (cursor spinning until program is
closed).
Any help would be appreciated

Have you installed Service Pack 3 for Office XP? Office XP is really not
certified for Windows Vista, so thats why you might be experiencing
unexpected incompatibility it.

Error 3000 seems like a common problem with Databases:

For Access related issues, try microsoft.public.access

not work on the Vista Machine.

Well, I am not an access expert, there might be some compatibility issues
with it on Vista, but its best you go to the folks who know everything about
access in the appropriate newsgroup:
microsoft.public.access
