Programs and Features not working

Hi,

When I open Programs & Features in the control panel, the system crashes.
It takes slightly longer to crash when I open it in safe mode.

It is very annoying not to be able to uninstall programs, etc.

Help!

You mean the whole computer crashes, and not just that window? Interesting.

The window does nothing, the system freezes and the only way to recover is to
turn the computer off. Ctrl-lt-Delete doesn't work.

So, yes, I meant what I said that the system crashes.
