Programs Losing Focus

Hi.

I've been having a frustrating problem for a while now and a search led
me to these forums where two other users had/have the same issue. They
explain it in this thread 'here'

Basically, if I'm running any program then after a period of time the
program will either lose focus or, if it's full screen, minimise.

It's as though I've alt-tabbed out of the program only without another
program taking its place.

In my searches I've found someone with a similar problem who found he
had a virus/trojan on his machine but I did a scan today and came up
with nothing.

I was hoping that maybe someone here, or maybe the other guys suffering
the same problem, might have an ideas as to what's going on?

Many thanks if you can help,

E.

If you are scanning with your anti-virus program, the same one that allowed
the infection, download, install, update and do a deep scan with
Malwarebytes. http://www.malwarebytes.org

For anyone else who is having a problem similar to this, I think I'v
found the programme responsible for stealing focus; RaUI.exe.

As I was typing I lost focus at one point just as I hit the space bar
A dialogue box popped up for RaUI stating there was "No selected Item."

A search on the internet reveals that it is a wireless router utility
I checked my processes for it and found a UI.exe related to wireles
routers and since I've ended its process I've stopped losing focus.

As a result, the control panel for my wireless dongle has bee
deactivated but I'm no longer suffering the issue. If I can figure ou
any more I'll post it here
