Programs won't install after installing SP2

Hi,

After I installed SP2, numerous program installs hang, including Windows
Updates, MS Messanger updates, and today a Logitech product. All exhibit the
same problem: Installation starts, and then hangs, no errors, nothing.

Somewhere I read that Norton AntiVirus might interfere. Anyone know about
this?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Martin, check at Kelly's http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Select U and scroll to Updates and S and
scroll to SP2. Also, check at Nortons website for any info about
problems with SP2.
