I've not long bought a HPDV9000 series laptop. I've checked Microsoft for
updates for it and had SP3 recommended by the automatic update tool.
So I've tried to install it many times........all unsuccessful.
Every time I boot my laptop the first thing that comes up is a Windows
Installer prompt telling me to load a cd with "Microsoft Office With
Frontpage" into my cd-rom...........I do not have any such cd..........the
laptop came fully loaded without discs.
I've followed the link mentioned below but all it does is save something
into my temporay internet files called "Office1706".
I'm a total novice to XP so can this fix please be explained as if you were
telling a 5 year old so that i might, just might, be able to sort this really
annoying problem.
Thank you for any help in this matter.
