Hi
Having used this site for the last month (I am hooked on you people
It has enabled me to understand the new features in Vista. However i
appears that many of my questions are about MS Vista updates. I woul
like to request a separate heading entitled “MS official Vista Updates
or something like this

It would make searching for this issues easy

Hope someone take up the baton on this

Regard
Davi

They already have. The problem is that you're accessing this Usenet
newsgroup from a web interface which purports to be a forum but which
really just scrapes Usenet posts. You'd be far better off setting up a real
newsreader to access Usenet, which is very easy to do. It won't solve the
issue of people posting in the wrong newsgroup, but things will work better
for *you*. As for searching, use Google Groups Advanced Search and
constrain your search to the particular newsgroup you're interested in.
Here's the general Usenet information:

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it.

Hi David,

There's already a more generic one:

microsoft.public.windowsupdate

and it seems to be the growing trend at Microsoft to not create
product-specific groups, but rather ones that can be applied across a range
of products.
