Quattro Pro 10 spreadsheet as part of Word Perfect Office2002 - PR

Hi there.....

Somehow yesterday my Quattro Pro 10 spreadsheet program ended up in a
Notebk format. I am now unable to amend any of my Quattro Pro 10 (.QPW)
files, or as far as I can tell start any new ones. Is there anything I can
do?

I have a Sony VIAIO purchased in 2003 using Windows XP. Thank you in
advance for any suggestions.

Hello again.....

Not sure if my reply came through - as message said "busy."

Although I can pull up my spreadsheet files in Quattro Pro, I do not
have any of the options at the top (file, bold, add up columns, etc). I have
tried everything to get those icons back at the top of the program, to no
avail.

Will welcome any further assistance.

Kathy, your problem is not related to Windows Updates but is directly
related to your Quatro Pro application. It appears that you have lost some
of your toolbars that's all. There must be some sort of help file that you
can look up on your system which advises you about toolbars etc.

Anyway a quick google find this for you, hope it helps -

You may need to reset your configuration files in Quatro® Pro. To reset your
configuration files do the following:
1.. Close out of any open applications including Quatro Pro
2.. Hold the left shift key down on your keyboard
3.. Click to open Quatro Pro keeping the left shift key held down
4.. You should get a window that opens up that asks if you wish to reset
to factory defaults.
5.. Click yes
Quatro Pro will then load.

Note: If you don't get the window asking to reset and Quatro Pro just opens
up anyway, close Quatro Pro and try these steps again.

Hi TaurArian....

That did it....bringing myself back to the factory defaults on the
Quattro Pro 10 program. All seems to be back to normal. THANK YOU soooo
much.
