are you using a bluetooh dongle to your phone because if you are use your usb
cable thats the problem i had the same problem that i fixed it

When replying to a message - please... quote at least *some* of the message
you are responding to. This is especially important when the message you
are responding to is over three years old (over 38 months...)

i was trying to update my computer and i was using my phone as a modem via
bluetooth and it wouldnt work i kept getting the error code 80072f8
eventually i got courious and tryed my Usb cable and it worked
