Question about dllhost.exe

When I do a Ctrl+Alt+Del I see 49 processes running and when I click on Show
processes from all users, it jumps up to 52 and then drops back down to 49.
Two of the processes that appear then disappear are two instances of
dllhost.exe but I can't see what is the other one that starts and then stops.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

Thanks

No one has any answer for this? I'm surprised.

Hi Larry,

The other process that will start then stop is "consent.exe" for the UAC
prompt. I see the same as you .

Thanks Jane. But what do those do in such a short time that they start then
stop so quickly?
