Question about NLB while upgrading from 2000 to 2003.

Hello,

I have a windows 2000 nlb cluster running Web Services. I am planning to
upgrade these servers to windows 2003. The issue is I am doing a clean
install of Windows 2003 on the same hardware and I would like to re-configure
each server with the same ip settings and NLB settings. Is this possible?
Is there some way to backup the NLB config from Windows 2000 and restore it
onto Windows 2003? Can I also restore all the ip settings, routing table,
nlb registry etc. Will this work?

hello,

basically, if you reinstall them one by one and join the cluster after
each install, the config will remain.

I guess you will want to maintain the service online while upgrading
(and so doing this way)

You just need to remember each node ip in that scenario
