Question Regarding SUS

I recently installed software update service.
When I run SUS, It starts downloading many updates about 368.... (there will
be many which will be irrelevant for my environment)
Is there any method to choose only updates related to Window2000 and after
SP4.....???
Is there any method to configure SUS, so that I manually download updates
from website and tell SUS to approve them for clients on my local Network????
