Not sure what you mean. Are you wanting to be able to have the administrator
automatically send an email whenever anyone connects a USB device to a
workstation?

You want to have a script that can keep track of everything that is ever
copied to a USB storage device?

IMHO, this might be scriptable, however one would need to first consider the
purpose of this notification. Would it be to simply log who connected a USB
device to what computer when for review after the fact? Or would it be so
the admin would contact the user, or perhaps visit the computer, to
investigate in real time.

[before I so rudely interrupted myself]

this will be more difficult. You would either have to interject your logging
function into every type of copy (copy, xcopy, robocopy, windows explorer
copy, etc.), or record the drive's content when inserted and when removed.
There are so many ways that that could go wrong, that I suspect the results
you would get would only give you a false sense of security.
