I have the following information in my windowsupdate.log file:

AU AU setting pending client directive to 'Forced Reboot'
2006-03-11 09:33:53 1064 434 AU WARNING: AU found no suitable session to
launch client in
2006-03-11 09:34:48 1064 434 DtaStor FATAL: Failed to initialize datastore,
error = 0xC8000711
2006-03-11 09:34:48 1064 434 AU FATAL: Failed to get session from datastore,
error = 0xC8000711

What does the first line mean?

Also the warning and fatal errors, is this something that needs to be fixed?
and if so, any ideas how?

Thanks,

Jaycee

Howdy Jaycee .... is the Event Log service running and is it set to
Automatic ? To confirm, go to Start, Run, type in

services.msc

Click OK. Scroll down to Event Log, double click it, and make sure that
it's status is Started, and that the Startup type is Automatic.
If you've reset it to Automatic, click Apply, and OK to make the setting
stick.
Try Windows Update to see if the issue is resolved.
