1. Why is there no size shown for Win XP Service Pack 3
in Control Panel-Add or remove programs?
2. Does Service Pack 3 relate to any issues regarding
Windows Internet Explorer 7?

1. Some apps don't show. Others are misleading in size anyways.

2. If you install SP3 after IE7 [or IE8], you can't remove IE unless you
uninstall SP3, then uninstall IE and then put back SP3.

That's good to know, however I was thinking
more along the lines of problems like when
IE 7 first came out I found it was not supported
by my ISP's browser, so I switched back to IE 6.
Then last Oct. when SP 3 was installed via Auto-
Updates, immediately after that, it offerd me to
install IE 7. I refused it because of the previous
problem.

Do not use Automatic/Windows Update for downloading/installing IE7!

Save the program to your desktop then install.

Activate Windows Update after installing IE7 to download/install pertinent
updates offered, including Root Certificates updates.

Good luck

Then you should contact your ISP and verify if IE7 is compatible with their
browser. If not, why not. IE6 is less secure.
