Quick Time 7.1.6

I am running Windows Vista home ed. 32 bit. Why tring to uninstall Quick Time
7.1.6 do I get the error message 2738 ? How can I uninstall the program ?
I tried from the program icons and from the control panel. It is also very
strange that there is the new version 7.2 on the net but using the program
right click function update, I get the message non update available

Had the same problem - found the vbscript.dll file not registered. The
following solution worked for me....
Taskbar -
Start -
Programs -
Accessories -
right click on Command Prompt -
select Run as Administrator -
type cd C:\Windows\System32 -
type regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Enter

I have now downloaded Quicktime 7.2 with no problem....good luck - JaxBT
