Hi, Doug.
Windows Live Mail 14.0.8089.0726 is the same program, no matter whether it
is running in Vista or Win7 - or in WinXP. All the settings in Vista Home
Premium 64bit should be equally available in Win7 Ultimate x86 - and vice
versa.
As you probably know, Quick views is not actually a folder; it is a "virtual
folder" which shows you to contents of one or more actual folders (such as
Inboxes for each of your Accounts), depending on what you select after
right-clicking on the Quick views heading. Also, of course, the selections
are different when you are in Mail mode from when you are looking at Quick
views in the News mode.
And, as "Find" said, you can toggle Quick views on or off completely in View
| Layout | Folder pane.
