Quicken Process Does Not Close

I have Quicken Basic 2005 and Windows XP SP2 and every time I open Quicken
the Task Manager window shows a qw.exe process. This process, however does
not terminate when I close the program. Since I rarely reboot my system,
every time I open Quicken , a new qw.exe starts and I have seen as many as 4
qw.exe processes running. Each of these take ~43,000 kb, so my machine gets
slower and slower. I asked the question at the Intuit site and the response
naturally suggested that it was a Windows XP problem.

Is this a know issue and is there a way to terminate these processes when I
close Quicken without going through the Task Manager? This is annoying.

Try Intuit again.
If intuit can not help, uninstall then reinstall Quicken.

Otherwise since this is a Windows Update newsgroup, you should ask this in a
