Quickly clearing text

Is there a way to quickly clear the text from a conversation in Messenger
(short of closing the app)? Like a hotkey or something?

Although older versions of Messenger Plus had a /clear function, there isn't really anyway
I'm presently aware of.

Easiest thing is to hit Esc (which will close the conversation window).
