Is there a problem with RA between different OS? I could not make
connection between my Vista(help provider) and RA user's PC with XP. I
switched my side of OS to XP then connection happened. Is there a fix
for this?

Greetings,

Nope, Remote Assistance between Vista and XP is backwards compatible. Although sometimes for
some odd reason, the RA request has had to be sent and accepted twice for it to work (this
has happened twice to me now, I guess I really should look into it).

The problem just happens sometimes and not always. It appears that RA
between the same OSes is more reliable. I wondered if there is known
issue with RA between different OSes.
