Radio Gadgets stopped working?

Hi

I have been using the BBC Radio sidebar gadget, but just recently it stopped
working.
I used to get a square box in the display, which when clicked would report
"transitioning" and turn to a "play" arrow.

I replaced the BBC gadget with another radio gadget and have same problems -
no audio whatsoever.

I downloaded another gadget that uses sound (Piano) and that works fine,
which leads me to think that something
has become corrupted as uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help. Neither
has a registry clean up.

Is there a "reset" in the registry for the sidebar?

Any guidance would be welcome - it's too quiet in here without a radio!

Mine is working - sort of. Can get some stations and not others.

I meant to add that I've found the best way to deal with malfunctioning
sidebar gadgets is simply uninstall/reinstall.
