RAID 0 and Vista activation question

I have a new HP m8120n quad core PC with Vista Home Premium. I want to
migrate my 2 hard disks to Intel Matrix RAID 0, however I am concerned that
this will cause Vista to to go hysterical and demand reactivation.
Documentation and searching Google doesn't mention anything about that, so
has anyone migrated to onboard RAID arrays and have Vista problems?

I went from RAID0 to 2 disc for dual boot and had to reactivate...I suppose
it will do the same the other way.
It was quite easy, 3 minutes on the phone.

Hi Spinoza,

When contemplating changes like this Vista will demand reactivation but the
procedure is quite easy and nothing to be afraid of, even if you need to do
it over the telephone. However, it is important to ensure that you have the
correct drivers for your RAID system stored on either USB or CD as although
the Vista disk has drivers for most devices it might not for yours. Use
Google and the manufacturers website to search for these drivers. If,
however, your system came with Vista preinstalled then you might not be able
to do this as machines that come way usually come with a restoration disk and
not a full disk. This disk will only restore to the configuration it was
initially intended for. If you are lucky and have a full version of Vista
supplied with your machine then you might not have to reactivate if it is
tied to the BIOS.

Even if this move does kick in the action prompt, re-activating is a no
brainer. If the automatic activation, over the internet fails, simply use
the telephone option to activate.

Thanks all for the responses. I'll contemplate this for a bit and decide.
This PC came with the Intel Matrix migration software to do it but no
mention was made anywhere in the documentation about having to deal with
Overlord Gates afterwards. I know it's a no brainer, but it's the principle
of the thing.
