Raid install

Having problems installing a raid across 4 1TB hard drives. I have i
configured in the bios. Trying to do raid 5 but have tried differen
configs and still no luck. vista home premium 64 bit. asus p6t deluxe v
board. when i get to the drive area i install the intel driver that asu
provided then i get an error something about windows not being able t
be installed on that drive. I click new and it cuts a big chunk of spac
from the primary and i still end up with the error about windows no
being able to be installed.then i have what looks like two drives
neither will allow an install

Er.... Which is it? A hardware RAID configured via the RAID
Controller's BIOS, or a software RAID, configured via a software utility
accessed from Vista? They're two very different things, and you'd only
use one of them. The OS itself is immaterial to the hardware RAID, but
would matter if the RAID Utility isn't designed for that OS.
