hi , i was having a look through the reliability and performance monitor on
my vista laptop, this is not something i normaly do as i don't know how to
interpret most of the information ,but i have noticed that when i run a
program such as a virus scan the hard faults show as 0-500/sec depending how
many programs are running. Most of the hard faults show in ccSvcHst.exe at the
moment it is showing 13,681faults/min is this something i should worry about?

system is
vista hp
2gb ram
dual core intel(r)t2050@1.60 ghz

RAM hard Faults are NOT a problem - it's a term for where the OS
uses/creates data in the pagefile, and not what you might expect <g>
It's not uncommon for e.g. explorer to rack up millions of hard faults.
