In BIOS RAM only shows as -*3251*-M

In control panel > System RAM shows as -*4G

*-Which is actually true? and how do I make sure all 4GB is bein
utilised

I'm running Vista Premium 64BIT and have

*fully updated Mobo drivers
*flashed the latest Bio
*critical windows update

My system specs are at the bottom left of this post
The only BIOS settings I have changed from default are from IDE > AHIC

If you install 4G RAM in machine, but BIOS just show 3.XG. Try the
setting in BIOS, please refer your motherboard manual.

e.g. In my own machine which has 8G RAM. There is an option "memory
remapping" in BIOS. It must be set to "ON" to let the BIOS to correctly
show 8G RAM.

Since you didn't read the question the first time, the op was asking why his
BIOS didn't show the full 4GB.
That is because the BIOS was not configured properly.
The op said he has 64 bit Vista.
