RC1 download manager fails

I can't connect with download manager

It claims:
Network Error. The Download Manager cannot make a network connection

Could this be a problem with my proxy ?

Is it related to the rumored availability of RC2 tomorrow ?

D/L Manager working here - RC 1 appears to still be available
