If you are attempting to install Beta IE 7, that is the cause.
Vista comes with IE 7 and the Beta you are attempting to install is not
intended or designed for Vista.

Hi,

IE7 is already in Vista, you should not attempt to install the stand-alone
version - that one is for WinXP.
