RCA MP3 PLAYER

I HAVE AN RCA MP3 PLAYER AND CANNOT GET MY IBM LAPTOP TO RECOGNIZE IT
DO I NEED A SPECIAL DRIVER?

I am having the same problem recognizing the mp3 player as a drive even
though the system beeps when I connect using a USB port. I tried the RCA
website with no luck. Have you found a fix?

I have the same problem too

Each time I connect the player, Windows shut down. Even I connect the player
before starting my system, It bug too. But at each time, the system beeps me
to tell it found a new hardware, and few second after, shuting down.
