I've installed Vista SP1 and as I can see there is a new RDP client, a
little bit different than previously one. What is new RDP version - 6.1? Is
it the same like RDP in Windows Server 2008?

Right-clicking the MSDTC.EXE file will give you version information.

I'm not sure if the RDP client is the same as Server 2008?

There are 3 Vista SP1 whitepapers available for download at the following
website. These give a very detailed description of all the changes and fixes
included in SP1.

Download details: Windows Vista SP1 Guides for IT Professionals:

Thnx. Properties says 6.0.6001.18000. Can you please check it on your Vista
without SP1, is it the same version?
Thnx.

Very nice document, thnx.

When should we expect final version of SP1? We have installed RTM, but when
SP1 will be available for all users?

On Vista without SP1 there is 6.0.6000.16386 RDP version. So, SP1 brings new
RDP client....
