Hello Amnon,

Basically it is just insert the disk and it should appear a window which
gives you the options that are available. Please describe the server roles
and how many servers you are talking about. What kind of upgrade will you
do, inplace on the same machine or to other hardware? What applications are
running on the server?

Best regards

Meinolf

Single server, at this point no 3rd party applications.
It has the Exchange only running on it.
I am considering in place upgrade to 2008 sometime around January 09, so I
am trying to gather as much information as possible.

Hello AF,

As far as i know it is not recommended to upgrade a DC with exchange installed
to 2008. Move exchange before upgrading to another member server. Also it
is not recommended to run exchange on DC's.

Best regards
