I take it that this is a replacement server, and this is what i am basing my
answer on.
The pc which you are connecting from was joined to your existing domain.
Even if the new domain is the same, you will need to remove the pc from the
existing domain, and then add it to the new domain again.

right click on "my computer" go to properties. Goto the "Computer Name" tab.
Click change to open the next screen. Now first tick the workgroup and enter
a workgroup name.(you can use any workgroup name... it does not matter)
click ok. The machine will want a restart. Connect to your new/test network
and go back into the same screen, this time select "domain" and enter the
domain name. It will ask for the credentials to add to the domain. Once
done, it will do a restart. you should then be able to connect with any of
the user accounts.
