In my case, this same problem started a few days ago, and when I sat down
tonight to think back what I had installed last couple days, only 2 programs
came to mind: VMN Toolbox, and VMN Toolbar. So, I disabled my connection
after d/l the VM uninstaller, ran it, then ran 5 anti-spyware programs on
full back to back.Norton Spyware Scan came up with the most: a trojan by the
name of Trusted Popups, and another by the name of Linkoptimizer. I
quarantined them, ran the VM uninstaller again, uninstalled the 2 suspected
VMN programs, ran NSS again, and clean free, baby! And, VMN is on the IE7
add-on site to boot, can you believe that? Someone needs to send ol' Billy a
message to take the 2 VMN programs off that site.
