If you are synching, AS/WMDC does get confused at times on synchronizing
Favorites. When this happens, go into AS/WMDC and disable synchronization
of Mobile Favorites. Disconnect your device, reconnect and when it is
synch'ed again, recheck Mobile Favorites. It should push them down to your
device and you should be good-to-go.
Ultimately, yes, it's broken. It works but not reliably and is an issue
that has been well documented.
