I have much the same problem - Outlook 2003 Sp2 talking to Notes/Domino
backend.
For me the process is:
1. plug in iMate (USB)
2. sync with activesync to Outlook
3. unplug iMate
4. "close" Activesync by clicking "X" - Activesync stays in systray
5. plug in iMate
6. syncs to Outlook.
If I unplug the iMate, leave Activesync open, and then plug the iMate back
in I always get the 85010014 error - then I have to close everything and
start again.
