Hi,

I understand that you uninstall Activesync, rebooted your computer and

Ji,
What is the exact error message you see when ActiveSync fails?

Hi,
This sounds like a driver or hardware issue. I'd start by reviewing the
steps at
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/acti...connection.htm

I've been busy documenting how ActiveSync and WMDC work as well as writing
about different technology.

Sincerely,

Hi,
I do not recommend using Zone Alarm with ActiveSync because Zone Alarm has
been reported as still causing problems even when disabled or configured.

I would suggest uinsintalling it and using the XP firewall to begin with.

As for logs, I would look through the Event Viewer and see if there is
anything there (start - control panel - administrative tools - Event
Viewer). Beyond that there is usually a dump that is created when it blue
screens. However I do not know how to read it.

Hi,
I cannot tell the cause. It could be a driver issue, a wrong dll or some
hardware that is no longer working that could be causing it.
