RE: Activesync Windows disappears and won't 'Restore'

I was having the same issue and found the reg key that controled the positon
of ActiveSync.
Keep in mind, changing values in the registry may make your Windows
unstable, but this one entry change has little potential impact.

<HKEY_CURRENT_USER><Software><Microsoft><Windows CE Services>
Key = WCESMGR Windowplacement
Value = 0,1,-32000,-32000,-1,-1,366,204,732,538

The value places the windows directly in the middle of my screen while using
1280 x 1024 resolution.
