People who want hot patching, eye candy, DirectX 10 etc etc. Do keep up,
Dave.

And it was the same with Windows98 and XP, Dave. You reckon Vista is
buggy, yet you haven't used it.

Wrong, most of them take Vista.

My reply to "unknown",

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Microsoft sold in excess of
ninety million Vista licenses? Jesus, I would love to own a company that is
such a failure as this.

Yes, you get what you pay for. I couldn't be more satisfied with my Vista
Ultimate OS. Well, OK. I lied. I will be a little more satisfied when SP1 is
released to the public.

Have a nice day.

To the OEMs. The OEMs have not sold all of these licenses yet to the
public. That number also does not account for the returns and people
who are unhappy with vista and have switched to back to XP or to another OS.

Those of us who have are, frankly, deluding ourselves.

It's the only sane explanation.

Which works as advertised on current hardware.

Now, try cramming it into a, for example, Micron TransPort XPE that's been
lying around since '97 and there's gana be a few hiccoughs...
