Depends on what email program you use.

Please provide complete and detailed information when you ask a
question. We can't see over your shoulder, you know.

Well, you still don't tell us enough to answer the question. Did you
read the link that I gave you in the last message? It's about how to
form a proper answerable question. Until you do that, you'll only get
wild guesses.

I'm assuming "Yahoo/at&t .net email" is the same as Yahoo's web mail
service. If so, the program used to open an attachment (whatever kind
that is - you don't say) is determined by your browser (whatever that
is - you don't say). That can be set by your browser preferences, and
by default is usually whatever program is the operating system's
default. The browser may have plugins installed to handle some types of
files, such as the Quicktime plugin to handle some audio and video file
types.

Nil gave you good advice. We can't help you if we don't know what you're
talking about.

If I sound put out it's because you're refusing to work with us. You
provided almost no information, and when pressed for details you
avoided giving them. It's a two-way street - you have to tell people
what's going on in order for them to help you. If you go see the
doctor, do you refuse to tell them where it hurts? If you want answers
here and elsewhere, when you're asked for information, it behooves you
to provide it.

Care to try again?
