It sounds like ffdshow or similar software is set to display info. Try
coming out of full screen while you have this displayed and check your tray
for running software. You should be able to access and change the setting
thru the icon in the tray, if not shut down MC and open the software and
turn off display.

Please don't clip the thread when posting a follow-up, many people used
dedicated newsreaders on the forums, which don't store the previous posts.
Someone popping into this thread would only see exactly what you post
(below), that makes if very hard for anyone to offer any advice or learn
from someone else's problem.
