Greetings Sandra,

The feature you're looking for isn't in Messenger, but you can add it by using Messenger
Plus! Live:
http://www.msgplus.net

Note: be sure to download the version for Live Messenger 2009 on the download page.

You'll find the option after installing Plus! by opening up the main Messenger window,
pressing the Alt key on the keyboard to bring up the menu bar, choosing the Plus! menu, then
Preferences & Options, and finally the Conversations tab. You'll find the auto-accept
options at the bottom of that window.

Hi Sandra,

It's just labeled as a bet a because it's not been as thoroughly tested as the "release"
versions. Plus (at least when you elect not to install the sponsor program during its
installation process) will stay out of your way and only interfaces with messenger.

Plus is developed by Patchou, who actually happens to be a friend of mine.
