For Home edition the registry setting is at:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\Explorer!NoAutoUpdate

In advanced versions of Vista, you use GPEDIT.msc
in User Config/System see 'Windows Automatic Updates' setting.
